The Ministry of Energy of Russia will hold the 1st international exhibition and conference organized by the Ministry of Energy of Russia "Information Technologies in the Energy Industry" at Moscow's Electrification Exhibition Pavilion (All-Russia Exhibition Center) during October 26–29, 2010. The co-organizers of the event are NP INVEL, Electrification Exhibition Pavilion, and the Russian Energy Agency.
At present, the Russian economy and its fuel and energy sector are in the process of intensive innovation, as decreed by the Government of the Russian Federation. This process includes implementation of new technologies, improvement of labor automation systems, high quality information processing, and enhancement of corporate personnel and equipment efficiency. The exposition of the exhibition and the issues to be discussed at the conference address such relevant aspects as development of information technologies in the energy industry, promotion of IT solutions to implement energy projects, and creation of favorable conditions for the development of the global and domestic IT markets.
The international exhibition and conference on information technologies in the energy sector will pool the experience and innovative achievements of the Russian energy entities and foreign companies.
The 1st international exhibition "Information Technologies in the Energy Industry" will present the entire spectrum of modern information solutions from leading energy companies and representatives of the IT industry. The conference will enable executives and experts of fuel and energy entities and the largest IT companies, representative of the scientific community, and investors in the industry to discuss relevant issues of implementation of new information technologies and promising lines of development in the energy sector.
